St. Joseph's Technical Institute Kisubi is a great place to teach and learn! Our instructors are committed to a high-quality learning experience focused on the individual needs of each student. We are striving to be creative and innovative in our instruction to engage students in their learning through a variety of CBTE activities, applications of technology, and 21st Century skills.

St. Joseph's Technical Institute Kisubi, located 23 kilometres along Entebbe Road, in Katabi Town Council, serves approximately 900 students from all over the country. Our institute community has a long-standing tradition of excellence in academics, and games and sports. As an institute, we are committed to our mission of preparing students to be productive citizens and life-long learners in an ever-changing world.

I extend warm greetings from the administrative arm of our institute and greatly thank you all for your continued support towards enhancing Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in our country by choosing our institute over the years. Indeed! Your support has gone miles in transforming our country both directly and indirectly, and I can say without fear of contradiction that you have created an indelible mark in the progressive development of our country by being advocates of Technical Education.

Our institute boasts of 113 years of great service to the Church and the entire nation at large. How wonderful this is! Over these past years, we have trodden this journey together with all our partners and stakeholders. To God be the glory!

It is a pleasure to welcome prospective candidates and their parents/guardians to St. Joseph's Technical Institute Kisubi, comprising Seven Departments. Choosing our institute for Certificate studies is an important decision, and the information given here aims to give you a feel of what it might be like to study at St. Joseph's.

St. Joseph's has always endeavored to empower graduates with knowledge and skills essential for the current job market. The curriculum has been revisited to align with the Competence Based Technical Education (CBTE) system and the requirements of Technical Vocational and Training Education (TVET).

The qualified, dedicated, and competent departments, well-equipped laboratories, and classrooms with teaching aids add value to the courses being conducted. The infrastructure and atmosphere combine to provide a great working and studying environment. Welcome to the most fulfilling and learning years of your life.

Director of Studies

The work of Chaplaincy is at the heart of the family of St. Joseph's Technical Institute, Kisubi. Rooted in the Catholic faith and inspired by the great tradition of Catholic higher education.

The office of the Institute Chaplain and the entire department of religious affairs is committed to providing spiritual, faith, and pastoral support, offering opportunities for all stakeholders to explore and develop a life of faith.

There are many ways to connect, including Mass, communal prayers, celebrations of sacraments, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Bible studies, retreats, counselling, and much more.

My hope is that you will find in our Institute chaplaincy a place to belong, learning more about yourself and the God who made you. Christ is alive, and He loves you with an infinite love.
